I'm still kinda new to all the tech specs but I've seen people complain about dead pixels or the backlights dying on budget sets right after the warranty ends. I mean, it's scary to drop $500 and have it break, right? Quick tip: If u go with a budget brand like the Hisense U6H, maybe buy it from somewhere with a solid protection plan. It might cost a bit more but at least u wont have a brick if the hardware fails early!!! TCL 55" was my best under $500. Good picture, no regrets after a year.
