Looking for a good TV for PS5 gaming, budget's tight at under $500. What's the absolute best bang for my buck in that price range?
Basically everyone is pointing towards TCL and checking specs on rtings, which makes sense for the price. But honestly since ur budget is tight, I'd really worry about the reliability long term... like, do these cheaper panels actually last more than two years??? I'm still kinda new to all the tech specs but I've seen people complain about dead pixels or the backlights dying on budget sets right after the warranty ends. I mean, it's scary to drop $500 and have it break, right? Quick tip: If u go with a budget brand like the Hisense U6H, maybe buy it from somewhere with a solid protection plan. It might cost a bit more but at least u wont have a brick if the hardware fails early!!! TL;DR: TCL/Hisense are the best value, but prioritize a good warranty or a store with a reliable return policy because budget TVs can be a total gamble for long-term safety.
TCL 55" was my best under $500. Good picture, no regrets after a year.
TCL's aggressive pricing often wins. Check rtings.com; specs matter more than brand loyalty under $500.
