Hey guys, I am finally looking to upgrade my setup because I am tired of losing gunfights in Warzone. I have been playing on an old 60Hz screen, and the motion blur is making it impossible to track players during fast movements. I am really trying to hit the higher ranks this season, so I need every advantage I can get.
I have an RTX 3080, so I can definitely push high frame rates. I am specifically looking for something with:
I am stuck between the BenQ Zowie and the ASUS ROG models. What monitor do you think is actually the best for competitive Warzone right now?
Honestly, go with the BenQ Zowie XL2546K 24.5 inch 1080p 240Hz. DyAc+ tech is basically magic for motion clarity in Warzone, and their Black eQualizer beats ASUS shadow boost. If you want 1440p tho, the ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQN 27 inch 1440p 360Hz is technically superior with a 360Hz refresh and insane GtG response times. BenQ wins for pure competitive advantage imo.
Since you've got an RTX 3080, I'd honestly suggest stepping up to 1440p. I used to think 1080p was the only way for competitive play, but in a game like Warzone where spotting a tiny head glitch across the map is everything, those extra pixels are a lifesaver. I've been using the Alienware AW2723DF 27 inch 1440p 280Hz for a bit and the motion clarity is basically insane. It's a fast IPS panel, so colors dont look muddy like older TN screens, which really helps with target acquisition in those dark corners. Price-wise, 1440p 240Hz monitors are way more affordable now. If you want to save some cash, look at the Gigabyte M27Q-X 27 inch 1440p 240Hz. Just a heads up, once you go 1440p, you wont ever go back to 1080p lol. Just make sure to tweak your nvidia filters too... it really helps the monitor's built-in shadow boost.
Not sure but i think focusing on panel type matters. Iirc someone told me that fast ips is better for colors than tn, which helps seeing people in those dark corners better...
Been using this for years, no complaints
