I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup and need recommendations for the best gaming monitor under $300. I'm primarily playing RPGs and open-world games, so I'm interested in a monitor with good image quality and refresh rate. Any suggestions on specific models or features I should prioritize? Thanks!
found this thread and gotta say that aoc is definitely the flashy choice, but i usually lean toward something a bit more established. mini-led looks great on paper but the blooming in dark scenes can be kinda distracting in rpgs if you arent lucky with the panel lottery. i tend to stick with the Gigabyte M27Q 27-inch 1440p 170Hz Gaming Monitor for budget builds. its a really safe bet. the color accuracy is basically top tier for under 300 bucks and you get a built in kvm switch which is handy if you ever hook up a laptop. honestly, id rather save the extra cash and get a rock solid ips panel that just works without messing with local dimming settings all day... just feels like a more reliable path.
