Hi everyone! With rumors about NVIDIA’s RTX 5090 launch heating up, I’m wondering where it’ll be sold. Are there confirmed retailers for pre-orders yet? Should I stick to NVIDIA’s official site, Amazon, or trusted partners like Newegg? Also, are there regional restrictions or tips to avoid scams? Hoping to secure one ASAP without overpaying. Any insights or past GPU-buying experiences to share? Thanks!
Check GearInStock, they will notify you when in stock: https://www.gearinstock.com/nvidia-rtx-5090-pre-order-in-stock-availability-tracker/
> Hoping to secure one ASAP without overpaying. Any insights or past GPU-buying experiences to share? I just saw this thread and it really hits home because I am honestly terrified of this launch after what happened previously. It is so incredibly draining to spend weeks researching specs and preparing your setup just to have the actual purchase experience be a complete disaster. The reliability of these retailers during a high-demand drop is basically zero. You have these massive sites like Amazon or Newegg that should be able to handle the load, but they just fold under the pressure. I remember trying to get a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition and it was just a nightmare of refreshing pages only to see them crash immediately. You end up staring at a 404 error or an empty cart while the bots scrape every single unit of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 before a human can even click. It makes me so frustrated because we are the ones who actually care about the tech while the systems just fail us. I really dont want to go through that emotional rollercoaster again where you think you have it and then the checkout crashes at the last second. It is just such a mess trying to buy anything high-end these days.
Lol I was literally about to post the same thing. Glad someone else brought it up.
