I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to the GeForce RTX 5080 and need advice on a suitable power supply. Nvidia recommends an 850W PSU, but I'm curious if that will be sufficient for my setup, especially if I plan to overclock. Would a higher wattage PSU be a better choice? Any specific models you recommend?

1000W PSU is a good choice.

Consider a 1000W PSU instead of 850W for your replacement. The small price difference is worth it for the extra headroom and future upgrade flexibility.
