^ This. Also, spending three grand on a single card is a massive gamble, honestly. I remember when I grabbed a flagship card a while back and the coil whine was so loud I couldnt even use it without headphones. It sucked because I thought the premium price guaranteed perfect silence.

  • Use a Discord bot or something like NowInStock instead of refreshing manually.
  • Make sure you have a beefy unit like the Corsair RM1000x 1000W 80 Plus Gold at minimum to handle those power spikes.
  • Always check the sold by label to make sure it is actually Amazon and not a scammy third-party seller. I eventually had to undervolt my last card just to keep the junction temps stable. The extra clock speed on these OC models usually only gets you a few extra frames anyway, so watch those thermal limits if your case airflow is just okay... kinda makes the extra $1000 hard to swallow tho.

$3000 for a RTX 5090? No!

I will waiting for BB drop on 5090 FE.

Regarding what #4 said about spending three grand on a card, honestly its ridiculous. I totally agree with that sentiment. Over the years, I have seen prices balloon while build quality seems to go downhill, and it just drives me crazy how companies expect us to pay premiums for components that might arrive with awful coil whine or worse.

  • It feels like a massive gamble every single time now.
  • Brands like EVGA used to have my back, but since they left the market, it feels like we are stuck dealing with companies that dont really care about the end user.
  • Its such a scam that the base tier experience is basically becoming a beta test for the consumer. I have tried many flagship models over the years, and the lack of quality control at these price points is just insulting. Why are we paying thousands for hardware that acts like it came off a discount bin? It is honestly exhausting.
