I just got my hands on a massive 4080 Super and I'm honestly terrified it's gonna snap my motherboard if I don't get a vertical mount soon. I'm building in an O11 Dynamic and I've been looking at the Cooler Master Universal V3 and that EZDIY-FAB one on Amazon. The CM one seems okay but some reviews say the cable is super stiff and might lose signal if you bend it too much which makes me super nervous. I really don't want to spend more than 70 bucks because I already blew my budget on the card itself. Does anyone actually know what the best kit is that won't sag or kill my airflow? I need to get this ordered by tonight if I want it for the weekend...

Since youre in an O11, you might want to consider the Lian Li O11D-1 Vertical GPU Bracket PCIe 4.0. It fits perfectly. If you go with the Cooler Master Universal Vertical GPU Holder Kit V3 PCIe 4.0, just be super careful... that cable stiffness is actually a common failure point for PCIe 4.0 signal integrity if you kink it too hard.

^ This. Also, while the Lian Li kit is okay, I’d actually suggest the Phanteks Premium Vertical GPU Bracket PCIe 4.0 instead. I’ve been very satisfied with its build quality. Zero sag. The steel is thick enough to hold a 4080 easily. Plus, the riser cable is significantly more flexible than the Cooler Master one. It stays within that 70 dollar budget and wont choke your bottom airflow, tbh.

Just saw this thread and wanted to offer a solution based on my recent builds. I have been extremely satisfied using the official mounting kits provided by the case manufacturer.
- Opt for the official Lian Li brackets.
- These offer superior structural integrity for heavy 40-series cards.
- Alignment is guaranteed since they are engineered for the O11 chassis. Going this route ensures you dont run into clearance issues with your fans.
