Hey everyone! I’ve been gaming a lot more on my PS4 Pro lately, but I’m constantly running into that annoying 'battery low' notification mid-session. I’m really tired of having cables draped across my living room floor, so I’m finally looking for a solid charging dock. I’d love something that features a 'drop and charge' design so I don't have to fiddle with those tiny micro-USB ports, which feel pretty flimsy. Ideally, it should hold two controllers and have a compact footprint for my crowded media console. Does anyone have a reliable brand that won't overcharge the batteries? What are the must-have charging docks you'd recommend for keeping DualShock 4s ready to go?

Ok so, basically the secret to a good DS4 dock is avoiding that top micro-USB port entirely. It's super fragile and honestly prone to failure, which is why the 'drop and charge' style is a total lifesaver. See, these docks use the EXT port on the bottom of the controller instead. It's way more durable and makes it basically impossible to mess up the alignment. Plus, the legit brands have a built-in chip to stop overcharging so ur batteries dont fry. In my experience, here's what u should check out: 1. Sony DualShock 4 Charging Station - NGL, this is the GOAT. It’s the official one, super compact, and has a heavy base so it doesn't slide around ur media console. It’s usually about $25 and just works.
2. PowerA DualShock 4 Charging Station for PlayStation 4 - If u wanna save a few bucks, this is a solid licensed alternative. It’s got a 'push-down' click to start charging which is actually pretty satisfying lol. Both are way better for the long-term health of ur controllers. gl! 👍

Curious about one thing: what's ur actual budget range? In my experience, I used to buy cheap micro-USB docks and they'd break in like a month, which ends up costing more. Going with an EXT port dock like the HyperX ChargePlay Duo - DualShock 4 Controller Charger is better long-term cuz: - It preserves the controller's fragile ports
