I've recently managed to get my hands on a PS5, and I couldn't be more excited! Now that I have the console, I'm eager to know what exciting games are on the horizon. I want to make the most of my new system, so I'd love to hear from the community about which upcoming games we should be keeping an eye on.

Are there any major titles that are generating a lot of buzz? Perhaps sequels to beloved franchises or brand new IPs that look promising? I'm particularly interested in games with great single-player campaigns, but I'm also open to multiplayer experiences that are expected to deliver on the next-gen hardware capabilities.

I've read a bit about a few games in development, but it's tough to keep up with so much happening in the gaming world. Any recommendations or insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I’m also interested in any release date information or trailers that can give me a glimpse of what these games will offer.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and happy gaming!

Yo, jumping in here because the tech in some of these upcoming titles is actually insane! Since youre on a fresh PS5, you gotta look at stuff that really pushes that custom I/O architecture and the RDNA 2 GPU. Its not just about graphics, the data streaming speeds are the real game changer here.

  • Sony Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 is the big one. The way they use the SSD for near-instant character switching and that super fast web swinging is a massive jump over the first game. Its pure technical wizardry tbh.
  • Square Enix Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PS5 looks like a total beast for the hardware. Theyre aiming for basically zero load screens in that massive open world which is only possible cause of the raw 5.5GB/s throughput on the console.
  • Ubisoft Star Wars Outlaws PS5 is another one to watch for the ray-traced lighting and scale. If youre worried about space for these huge installs, definitely grab a Samsung 990 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD with Heatsink to expand your storage. Youll need it given how big these 4K assets are getting! Seriously, the speed on that drive matches the internal specs perfectly and youll never worry about deleting games for space.
