I'm considering building a mid-range gaming system with the Intel Core i5-14600K processor. What motherboards would you recommend that offer good performance, support for DDR5 memory, and have solid VRM designs? Features like PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E, and multiple M.2 slots are important to me. I'm aiming for a balance between performance and value. Any suggestions or experiences with specific models would be helpful.

Totally agree that the Tomahawk series is the sweet spot for this build! Honestly, for a 14600K, you really dont need to spend more than that to get amazing performance and all the features you actually use. Love how stable the power delivery is on those boards without totally breaking the bank. Just make sure you check if it has a BIOS flashback button tho... sometimes those boards might need a quick update to recognize the 14th gen chips properly right out of the box!
