I just got this iPhone 15 and everyone talks about MagSafe but I have no idea where to start, I spent all my money on the phone so I only have like $40 left and everything online is so expensive.

Im really frustrated and sorry if this is dumb. What MagSafe accessories are actually essential for daily use?

In my experience, heat dissipation is the most critical factor for battery health. The Anker 313 Wireless Charger MagGo Pad 15W is basically superior to cheap clones. If you want a stand, the ESR HaloLock MagSafe Ring Stand is a solid add-on. I've benchmarked several setups and these stay cool. TL;DR: Focus on a reliable charging pad first. It's the only technical essential.

@Reply #3 - good point! honestly tho i had issues with those cheap generic wallets... they fall off way too easily and i almost lost my id. unfortunately most cheap magsafe stuff is just disappointing. since you only have forty bucks, id grab the <a href=" https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Spigen+Mag+Armor+MagFit+Case+ iPhone+15+Matte+Black&linkCode=osi&t=t=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Mag Armor MagFit Case iPhone 15 Matte Black. it actually keeps the phone safe and has strong magnets. way better than those flimsy clear ones that turn yellow in a month.

Regarding heat mentioned by #1, I stick to official gear for safety. I've had generic pucks shift and fail.

Been thinking about this since I saw your post earlier. Honestly, I had a pretty rough start with MagSafe too because I tried to go the cheap route. I bought this generic magnetic battery pack from a random site and it was a total disaster... it barely charged my phone and got so hot I thought it was gonna melt something. A few things I learned the hard way:

  • The cheap magnetic stickers you put on regular cases are trash.
  • Generic desk stands usually dont have enough weight, so the phone just tips over.
  • Buying the no-name stuff usually ends up costing more because you have to replace it when it breaks in a week. Its really disappointing that the good stuff is so pricey. If I only had forty bucks now, I wouldnt bother with the multiple cheap accessories. I basically just use my current setup which is one decent mounting base I got on sale. Just be careful with the knockoffs... they really arent as good as people claim.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I think you should totally look into those magnetic ring grips first! They're amazing so you dont drop your phone and usually way cheaper than the official stuff.

  • I heard the generic magnetic wallets are actually pretty decent for the price.
  • Someone told me you can find great deals at those discount shops too! Honestly, just getting any magnetic grip makes such a massive difference and you're gonna love it!
