Which usb-c hub is actually gonna handle a full workstation setup without getting scorching hot or dropping the signal? Ive been using hubs for years with no issues but my new setup is driving me crazy because the hdmi connection flickers every time I try to transfer files to my external ssd. Its super annoying since I need to get this video edit done before I fly out of Seattle on Friday. Looking for something with solid power delivery and at least two usb-a ports for my legacy gear. Budget is around 90 bucks and I need something reliable for daily 10-hour grinds... maybe Anker or CalDigit?

Ugh, I totally feel you on that flickering! It used to drive me insane when I was rendering 4K footage. I switched to a high-end dock last year and it changed my life! You definitely need to look into CalDigit gear. Their build quality is phenomenal and handles heat way better than the cheap plastic stuff.
- Look at their Thunderbolt options for more bandwidth
- Go with any Anker hub for solid power delivery
- Metal casing is key for 10-hour grinds!
