been working out of cafes in London lately and my necks starting to kill me. I looked at the Roost but its pricey, and Moft looks way too flimsy for a heavy Macbook. Budget is around 50 quid. Which portable stand is actually stable enough to type on without it shaking everywhere?

> Moft looks way too flimsy for a heavy Macbook. Unfortunately, most portable options are just too unstable. What screen size is your Macbook? Tip: prioritize wide rubber pads like on the Nulaxy C1 Foldable Laptop Stand.

Re: "I've tried many over the years and the..." ugreen is decent, but unfortunately mine developed a nasty wobble after heavy use. I've spent a fortune testing these and most cheap ones are garbage. For under 50 quid, these actually held up:

  • Nexstand K2 Portable Laptop Stand
  • Lamicall Laptop Riser Aluminum The Nexstand is basically a Roost but half the price... keeps my heavy macbook steady without the shake.

I've tried many over the years and the UGREEN Laptop Stand Adjustable Aluminum is solid as a rock. It wont shake while typing and feels way safer than those flimsy stick-on ones.
