What are some vertical mount kits that actually work and dont sag like crazy? I am honestly so fed up with this generic one I bought off Amazon, it is leaning so far down that it's practically touching my bottom fans and making this awful grinding sound every time I boot up. I spent way too much on this RTX 4080 to have it ruined by a cheap bracket that feels like it is made of tinfoil. I am in London and need something shipped by Friday because I have a big stream coming up and the noise is driving me insane. My budget is around 70 quid, just need it to fit a Corsair 5000D case without bending under the weight. Any brands that are actually solid?
Unfortunately, generic mounts often fail. I had issues with sag which was honestly not as good as expected.
^ This. Also, I'm totally obsessed with the CableMod Vertical PCI-e Bracket 4.0 Edition! It's absolutely fantastic because it sits inside the chassis so you dont have to cut those 5000D bridge bars.

Unfortunately, generic mounts often compromise safety. Does your 5000D have those divider bars between expansion slots? I'd recommend searching for a discounted Lian Li VG4-4-V2 Vertical GPU Kit for around 60 quid.
Honestly its such a shame that manufacturers still pump out these flimsy brackets when modern cards weigh as much as a small brick. I have seen way too many setups ruined because people underestimate the sheer torque a heavy card puts on the mounting points. Unfortunately, I had issues with several supposedly premium kits in the past that just werent as good as expected once you actually put a real card like your 4080 in them. One thing you really need to be careful about with that Corsair 5000D is the actual thickness of the metal on the bracket itself. If it feels thin, it probably is. You want something that basically locks the card in place so there is zero wiggle room. Also, watch out for those cheap riser cables. I have had cases where the signal dropped out randomly because the cable couldnt handle the bandwidth, which is a nightmare when you are trying to stream. Just make sure whatever you grab is rated for PCIe 4.0 or you will be pulling your hair out over stutters and crashes mid-stream. Keep an eye on those bottom fans too, if you have no clearance the temps will spike fast. Its a lot of weight to hang off a few screws so dont settle for anything that feels light.
