Been thinking about your budget for a bit. Quick clarification tho: do you mostly play competitive shooters or casual immersion games? One tip: always update the firmware via a pc before your first use to avoid sync errors. Personally, I am very satisfied with the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX for Xbox. It has 48-hour battery life and very reliable technical performance. Works well for me.

For my setup, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Gaming Headset has been extremely reliable. The 2.4GHz wireless dongle provides a much more stable connection compared to the official Microsoft tech. If you want something that works well without dropouts, the Nova 7X is basically the safer bet for a consistent experience. Im very satisfied with the hardware quality.

Just saw this thread. It's so frustrating how these expensive headsets always seem to fall apart. I've gone through so many pairs where the plastic hinges just give out and it is a total waste of money honestly. Quick tips:

  • Make sure to check if the dongle is cross-platform compatible
  • Be careful with sets that dont have metal reinforcement I would suggest looking at the HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless for Xbox.
