honestly so fed up with Sony right now. I just dropped a fortune on this new PS5 Pro and it feels like I bought half a console... no disc drive and no stand for that price is just crazy. I live in a dusty flat in London and I'm stressed about it getting ruined already. I have about 150 quid left to spend this month and I really need to get this set up right.
What are the absolute best must-have accessories for a new PS5 Pro that actually make it feel complete? I mostly need:
- a disc drive obviously
- something to keep the dust out
- maybe a better controller or charging dock?

I learned the hard way that London dust is no joke... killed my fan in a year. I would suggest prioritising these:
- Sony Disc Drive for PS5 Pro CFI-ZDD1 is essential but pricey.
- PlayVital Dust Cover for PS5 Slim Pro Water Resistant beats cheap mesh filters that might restrict airflow.
- Sony Vertical Stand for PS5 Slim Pro CFI-ZST1 is much sturdier than generic plastic stands that might wobble. Be careful with that budget tho.

Saw this a few hours ago and figured id weigh in on the London dust situation because it really is a nightmare. I used to live in a basement flat near Shoreditch and my consoles would get caked in grey grime within weeks. Be careful with those thick fabric covers though... I actually overheated my old PS4 because I forgot to take the cover off once before turning it on. If you want a more permanent fix, I would suggest some PlayVital Dust Filters for PS5 Slim Pro Console Mesh Covers instead. They fit inside the vents and catch the debris while you're actually playing without choking the fans as much as a full external wrap might. Since the Sony PlayStation 5 Disc Drive for PS5 Digital Edition Slim Pro is gonna eat up most of your 150 quid, dont waste money on the official Sony charging dock or stand. I personally use the NexiGo PS5 Controller Charging Station with LED Indicator and its been solid for a fraction of the cost. It keeps the desk clean and you dont have to worry about the USB-C port on the controller getting wiggly from constant plugging. Also, honestly, skip the vertical stand for now. Just lay it horizontal on some small rubber feet or even just some stable coasters to get it off the shelf surface. Save that extra 25 quid for a cheap game instead. Just make sure to keep the area around it clear so the heat can actually escape because that Pro model generates a lot more warmth than the base unit.
