Jumping in here because I was in the same boat literally two weeks ago. I really wanted to maximize my build budget for a better GPU, so I went the non-RGB route to save some cash. Honestly, I am super satisfied with the TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL30 kit I picked up. It was way cheaper than the flashy stuff but the performance feels exactly the same in my games. It has been rock solid with EXPO enabled and I havent had a single crash yet. If you are trying to keep the total cost down, another one to look at is the Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL30. It fits under basically any air cooler and usually goes on sale pretty often. Definitely worth checking the deals before just grabbing the most expensive thing you see... good luck with the build tho, you are gonna love that 9800X3D! Go DDR5-6000 CL28 or CL30—G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo is killer with EXPO and tight timings. But if you’re into overclocking, grab a 7200MHz kit like the Corsair Vengeance RGB (CL34) and tune it down to 6400MHz with tighter timings (like CL30 or lower). The 9800X3D’s unlocked multiplier and improved IMC can handle it if your cooling’s up to snuff. I’ve seen folks hit 8600MHz on X, but that’s overkill for most. Two DIMMs, always—4 sticks kill your speeds.
