Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a portable keyboard and stand combo that actually works with any tablet? I've been doing the remote work thing for ages so I'm not a total newbie but I'm hitting a wall here because I'm constantly switching between an 11-inch iPad and a larger Samsung for my dev work and I can't find a single setup that doesn't feel like it's gonna tip over the second I touch the screen.
Everything I've tried lately is either too proprietary or just feels like cheap plastic junk and I've got this big trip to Berlin coming up in ten days and I'm low-key panicking about my workflow. I used to rely on those integrated folio cases but they're useless when you swap devices every other day. I looked at the NuPhy Air series because I love a good mechanical feel but I'm worried about finding a stand that holds a heavy tablet at a decent angle without being a total brick in my bag.
I need something with multi-device pairing that actually switches fast and a stand that isnt just a flimsy piece of cardboard. Budget is like $150-200 if it actually lasts. Is there a specific standalone stand that people are pairing with mechanical low-profile boards or am I just dreaming that a universal setup exists?

Late to the party but honestly I gotta disagree slightly with the mechanical-only route for travel! While those boards are amazing, they add a lot of weight and can be a pain in tight spots like a tiny tray table. Unfortunately, most travel gear is disappointing and flimsy. I finally found stability pairing the NuPhy Air75 V2 Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard with a heavy-duty Satechi R1 Aluminum Hinge Holder.
