What is the best 4K monitor for the Mac Mini M4? I'm looking for a monitor that offers great image quality and is compatible with the M4's capabilities. I primarily use my Mac Mini for video editing and general productivity tasks. Any recommendations on specific models or features to consider would be greatly appreciated!

Ok so, while those are popular choices, I'd actually argue that focusing solely on ports or the "Mac aesthetic" might lead you to some reliability headaches down the road. Especially with the M4 architecture, you really want to ensure the power delivery handshake is rock solid so you aren't risking your logic board with inconsistent controller chips that some of these consumer brands use. Tbh, if you're doing heavy video work, you NEED to consider the long-term stability of the hardware rather than just the initial image quality: * Panel uniformity over time (does the color shift or dim after 4 hours of heat soak?)
* The actual MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of the internal power supply under constant load Reliability is basically everything when your paycheck depends on a finished render. Before you pull the trigger, I have a couple questions to narrow this down: 1. How many hours a day is this thing going to be pushing pixels without a break?
2. Are you in a color-critical environment where you'll be calibrating to specific industry standards like DCI-P3 or Rec.709 regularly?

The LG UltraFine 4K 24"  is pretty much designed for Mac users. Has USB-C with 65W power delivery so you can run the Mini with just one cable. Colors are excellent out of the box and it matches the Mac aesthetic perfectly. Been using it with my M2 Mini and zero complaints.
