Building on the earlier suggestion, that 799 price tag is pretty much the standard now, but honestly... I am a bit disappointed. I have been testing high-refresh ultrawides for years and the performance jump on this specific Alienware doesnt seem to justify the premium price compared to what else is out there. I had issues with text clarity on their previous sub-pixel layouts and it was not as good as expected for the money. If you are looking for that same performance but want to be smarter with your budget, you might wanna check out the MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED. It often goes on sale for way less and the panel is basically identical in terms of gaming feel. Another great shout is the Gigabyte MO34WQC 34-inch OLED if you can find a deal. You could save like 100 or 200 bucks which is better spent on a GPU upgrade imo. Just trying to help you get the most frames for your dollar!
