I'm currently searching for a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card and would like to know where I can find one in stock right now. I've checked a few retailers, but it seems like they're mostly sold out. Any tips on where to look or if there are any restocks coming soon?

So honestly, finding the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT right now is basically a full-time job. If your looking to grab one, I'd suggest focusing strictly on official retail partners like Newegg or B&H rather than random marketplace sellers. I've seen too many people get burned by 'open box' deals that arrive with DAMAGED components or missing accessories. If you have a Micro Center nearby, definitely check their in-store inventory early in the morning; they usually have better stock control than the websites. Also, make sure you verify that the seller is the retailer itself and not a third party, because RMA support can be a total nightmare if the serial number isnt registered to an authorized distributor. Safety and warranty coverage are priority number one when spending this much on a GPU, tbh.

Ive been tracking stock for every major release for over a decade and the sketchiness is at an all-time high right now. My big warning is to stay away from those 'deal' accounts on Twitter or random Discord servers. Seriously, dont send anyone money via Zelle or Venmo just because they claim to have a card ready to ship. Only buy from the manufacturer direct or verified partners. Also, be really careful with those 'sponsored' search results on Google. A lot of them are phishing sites that look exactly like the real thing but they just want your credit card info. Stick to your bookmarks and stay patient... its better to wait a month than to lose your money to a scammer. Good luck out there, hunting for these is basically a gauntlet.

Arlo281 makes a valid point regarding the risks of unofficial trackers. Ive spent significant time analyzing the voltage regulation and thermal efficiency on these newer boards, and I would suggest being very careful with where you buy. When I finally sourced my own hardware, I prioritized the long-term stability data over getting it a few days earlier.

  • make sure to cross-reference the serial numbers with the manufacturers database immediately
  • verify that the seller offers a full return window in case of coil whine or thermal throttling
  • document the initial stress test results for future RMA reference Tbh, since I plan on keeping my setup for at least three or four years, I found that the peace of mind from a verified source is worth the wait. You really dont want to deal with a component failure outside of a formal warranty period...
