What are the best GPU support brackets for a really heavy card that actually stay in place and dont look like total trash?
I finally finished my build last weekend with a Gigabyte 4080 Gaming OC and man this thing is a literal brick. Its way bigger than I expected when I saw the box in the store. I noticed today that there is a tiny bit of a lean on the right side and it is honestly stressing me out because I dont want to ruin the PCIe slot or crack the PCB like I keep seeing in those horror stories online. I spent way too much on this rig for it to break because of gravity lol.
I did some looking around and found the Lian Li GB-002 which looks super clean because it mounts to the motherboard standoffs but then I realized my board has those chunky built-in heatsinks for the m.2 drives and I am worried it just wont fit right or will be a nightmare to install now that everything is already put together and cable managed. I also saw those little screw-up pillars that just sit on the bottom of the case but my case has a mesh floor over the PSU shroud and I am worried it might be wobbly or slide around if I ever have to move my PC even an inch.
Is there something better out there that I am missing? My budget is like 30 or 40 bucks max since I already blew all my cash on the card itself. I need something that looks decent through the side panel but isnt gonna fail in six months. Some of the cheap ones on Amazon have reviews saying the magnets are weak or the rubber pads fall off and I really dont want a piece of metal falling onto my PSU while the thing is running.
Should I just stick with a basic vertical pole or is there a specific brand that does the horizontal ones better without blocking the fans? Just want to get this sorted before the sag gets any worse...
