Just found this thread. Honestly, the whole stock situation is such a headache and I'm right there with you on the frustration. I spent way too much time yesterday just hitting refresh until my fingers hurt, it's basically a full-time job at this point just to buy a piece of hardware. I think I heard a rumor that some shipments got delayed at the ports, but I'm not 100% sure if that's true. Tbh before you just grab whatever pops up first, you should definitely check out some of the deep-dive teardowns the community has been posting. There's some pretty big variance in thermal pad quality and power stages between the different models that have launched so far. 1. Are you looking for a specific AIB model for better cooling/VRM, or are you just trying to get the cheapest MSRP card possible?
2. What kind of case clearance are you working with? Some of these triple-slot cards are absolute units and wont even fit in standard mid-towers without some serious squeezing. Basically, its worth knowing if you need the extra headroom for OC'ing or if youre fine with a reference-style PCB. Some users are reporting way better undervolting results on specific batches, so it might be worth waiting for the next shipment anyway to see if the silicon lottery stabilizes.
