What's the best wireless headset for the new PS5 Pro? Im totally lost with all the options and dont know whats actually compatible. I just bought the console here in London and have about £150 to spend by next weekend. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start...
Saw this earlier but just getting a chance to chime in... Love that you got the Pro! Since you are in London, check Currys or Amazon for the <a href=" https://www.amazon.com/s?k= SteelSeries+Arctis+7P%2B+Wireless&linkCode=osi&t=t=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ Wireless right now. Its easily the best bang for your buck under £150. It handles the Tempest 3D audio perfectly and the build quality is way better than the cheaper plastic ones. If you want to stay first-party, definitely look at the Sony Pulse Elite Wireless Headset. Those planar magnetic drivers are amazing for the price and it fits your budget. Its got that fancy retractable mic too. Honestly though, the <a href=" https://www.amazon.com/s?k= SteelSeries+is+just+more+comfy+f&linkCode=osi&t=t=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries is just more comfy for long sessions. Technical side is simple: just plug the USB-C dongle into the front and you're good to go. Dont overthink it!
^ This. Also, be careful with the <a href=" https://www.amazon.com/s?k= SteelSeries+recommendation+becau&linkCode=osi&t=t=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">SteelSeries recommendation because the hinge design is a known weak point and they can snap if you have a larger head. Ive seen it happen way too often. Since you are in London and want to stay under £150, look at these instead:
> Im totally lost with all the options and dont know whats actually compatible. I totally get that feeling. Honestly, I used to buy whatever was top of the best of lists every single year, but I learned the hard way that reviews dont tell you how things hold up after six months. I remember one pair I bought near Tottenham Court Road a few years back... looked amazing on the shelf but the plastic hinge literally crumbled while I was just taking them off my head one night. It was gutting because I spent way over my budget back then. Ive become really cautious lately about anything that looks too flashy with lots of thin plastic joints. My current setup is way more robust because I finally started looking at how the earcups are actually attached to the headband. I would suggest looking really closely at the build materials before you drop your cash. Metal sliders might feel heavier at first but they wont leave you with a broken headset right when a new game drops like what happened to me. Just my two cents after breaking way too many expensive pairs...
Congrats on the Pro, it is absolutely amazing!! Before I drop some recommendations, do you care more about crazy long battery life or having a super clear mic for parties?
