I've been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max for a few months now and am in search of a high-quality headset to enhance my audio experience. While Apple's AirPods are a popular choice, I'm curious about other options that offer excellent sound quality, noise cancellation, and seamless compatibility with the iPhone 13 series. Whether it's over-ear headphones or true wireless earbuds, I'm open to all suggestions. Additionally, any insights into battery life, comfort for extended use, and durability would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your recommendations!

^ This. Also, if you want something that actually lasts, I would suggest looking at Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless. I have used them for months and they are tanks. You just have to be careful not to let the firmware get messed up by interrupting an update, which is why I always leave them plugged into a wall outlet when the app says it is installing something. I really value gear that does not feel like it will snap in half after a few drops. I dropped mine on the garage floor last week and they did not even have a scratch, which reminded me of the time I restored my grandfathers old truck back in the day. Parts were hard to find and everything was built to last forever, unlike this modern tech that just breaks if you look at it wrong. Anyway, just make sure you keep the firmware updated through the app and they should be solid for a long time.

I've been using the AirPods Pro 2 with my iPhone 13 Pro Max for about a year now and they're fantastic. The noise cancellation is superb for commuting, the transparency mode works great when you need to hear your surroundings, and the battery life easily lasts my workday. The integration with Apple's ecosystem is seamless - automatic switching between devices is a game-changer if you use other Apple products.

Honestly, I have spent way too much on premium gear that just didnt live up to the hype lately. I tried the Bose QuietComfort 45 and unfortunately, the sound profile felt really flat for the price tag. Not nearly as good as I expected for over 300 bucks. If youre looking to save cash without losing too much quality, honestly just look at these:

  • Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC - way better noise canceling than it has any right to be for the price.
  • Sennheiser HD 450BT - decent sound but the build quality is kinda plasticky, tbh. Quick tip: dont bother with the official Apple lightning adapters for wired sets. They break if you even look at them wrong. Stick to bluetooth for the 13 Pro Max and save yourself the headache.
