What are the best earbuds for the iPhone 16e? I'm looking for recommendations that offer great sound quality, comfort, and good battery life. I prefer wireless options and would like to avoid any models that have a hard plastic neck design. Also, if there are any budget-friendly options under $150, that would be ideal. Thanks for your help!

For under $150, get the AirPods 4: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGHMNQ5Z?t=t=7649-20

I bought Beats Studio Buds+, I think it is best bluetooth buds that I ever had, https://www.amazon.com/Beats-Cancelling-Compatibility-Microphone-Headphones/dp/B0BZK2Z2TC?t=t=7649-20

  • I really wanted to love the Beats too, but unfortunately the mic quality was a total letdown for me during calls. It picked up way too much wind noise when I was walking. If you care about actual performance and want to stay under that 150 mark, I would definitely look at these alternatives instead:
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro
  • Even on an iPhone, the soundstage is huge and they are super light.
  • Soundcore Liberty 4 NC
  • Honestly has better noise cancelling than most buds twice the price.
  • Jabra Elite 5 Titanium Black
  • These are super tiny and way more comfortable for long listening sessions than the hard plastic AirPods. I have tested a ton of these and those three just perform better than the basic stuff people usually default to. Let me know if you want more details on the fit or anything tho!

I honestly spent way too much money testing stuff that just didnt live up to the hype on iOS. Its frustrating when you see a best of list and then the buds barely work with Siri or the connection drops because the proprietary tech favors Android.

  • <a href=" https://www.amazon.com/s?k= Sennheiser+CX+Plus+True+Wireless&linkCode=osi&t=t=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless: I really wanted these to be my daily drivers because the audio is crisp, but the iOS app is super glitchy. It kept forgetting my EQ settings which is just annoying for the price.
  • EarFun Air Pro 3: These are great for the price, but the noise cancellation felt way weaker than what the reviews promised. It barely blocked out the bus engine on my commute.
  • Soundcore Space A40: These are comfy but again, the multipoint connection on iPhone was pretty spotty for me. Be careful with anything that relies heavily on a specific codec like LDAC or aptX because the 16e wont use it. Stick to stuff that explicitly handles AAC well or youll notice a drop in quality... let me know if you need more info on the app quirks tho!

Don't just default to AirPods. I've been using the Sony WF-1000XM5 with my 16e and they're phenomenal.

AirPods 4 is the best choice.

For your iPhone 16E, which doesn't have a headphone jack, great wireless earbuds are essential. I recommend considering the AirPods (2nd generation) for a seamless Apple experience with good sound quality and battery life. They're often on sale under $150. If you're looking for alternatives, the Anker Soundcore Life P3 offers excellent sound, comfort, and active noise cancellation at a budget-friendly price. Both options are comfortable, have decent battery life, and avoid the hard plastic neck design. Happy listening!
