I have tried several method, but no one can download video with sound. Is there any way to get sound in the video?
I've tried a few of those paid apps people recommend and unfortunately had issues with them being way too overpriced for what they actually do. They are often not as good as expected and just feel like a cash grab when you just want a simple video. If you want to keep things budget friendly, there are better ways to get the audio without spending a dime.
@Reply #1 - good point! Those sites are definitely quick, but I am always a little cautious about using web-based tools for security reasons. RapidSave works, but sometimes those ads can get super sketchy!! Personally, I love a more professional and methodical approach to ensure the highest quality. Since Reddit separates the streams using DASH, you really need a tool that handles the muxing process with absolute precision. Using 4K Video Downloader+ Personal Edition has been honestly amazing! Its about $25 for a license, but the reliability is just fantastic compared to those free sites. You just paste the link and it handles the audio and video synchronization perfectly every single time. It feels so much safer than clicking through those weird redirecting websites, and the result is always crystal clear sound. Love it so much!!
Just wanted to say thanks for everyone chiming in. Super helpful discussion.
Oh man, I totally feel your pain! I spent forever trying to figure this out because it’s so annoying when the sound is missing. Basically, I think Reddit stores the audio and video as separate streams? That's why a normal download doesn't work right. At least that's what I've gathered. Anyway, these are the ones I use:
* RapidSave - This is the one I use most and it's super easy!!
* Viddit.red - Another website that usually works for me.
* I've seen people recommend yt-dlp for PC, but it looks a bit too techy for me to figure out??? I'm still pretty new to this, but those first two sites are honestly lifesavers. Does that help at all?
