I'm on a budget but still want a laptop capable of running modern games smoothly. Are there AMD-based gaming laptops available under $1500 that offer good performance without compromising too much on features? Any recommendations for models that provide the best bang for the buck?

Check out the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with AMD Ryzen processors. It offers excellent performance and value under $1500.

Tbh I went through the same struggle last year trying to find something that wouldnt kill my savings. I spent weeks watching reviews and waiting for sales. I finally settled on the TUF lineup because the value for the specs is just hard to beat compared to the more premium brands. I ended up picking up the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 with Ryzen 7 7735HS and RTX 4060 and it has honestly been such a solid workhorse for me. I usually have a million tabs open while gaming and it handles it all pretty well. If you can wait for a holiday sale or check for open-box units at places like Best Buy, you can sometimes even find the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 9 7940HS for under $1500. That one is way more portable if you ever need to take it to class or a cafe... just my two cents based on my own hunt!

Yes! Several AMD-based options exist under $1500. TheHP Victus 16 with an RTX 4070 and Ryzen 7 CPU offers excellent performance at a great price.
