Finally got my hands on a 4080 Super for my rendering rig here in Seattle and man this thing is an absolute brick. I am so pumped to get it running this weekend but I noticed it is already sagging like crazy just sitting in the slot.

I looked online and saw those horizontal brackets that screw into the expansion slots but some reviews said they actually end up bending the case frame if the card is too heavy. Then I saw those little vertical kickstand things but my case has a weird uneven shroud so I dont know if itll even stand straight. I have like 25 or 30 bucks left in my budget for this. What are the most effective GPU sag support brackets that actually stay put?

Just saw this! Since you have an uneven shroud you gotta look at the Lian Li GB-002 Graphics Card Anti-Sag Bracket. Its fantastic because it mounts directly to the motherboard standoffs! No worrying about case warping or sliding kickstands. I love it because its basically invisible once installed and keeps that 4080 Super perfectly level. Truly amazing design for only 10 bucks!

Ngl I went through three different brackets before I found one that didn't feel like it was gonna snap my case. Be careful with those horizontal ones... I tried one and it actually started warping the expansion slot area on my old case because the card was such a brick. Since your shroud is uneven, I would suggest checking out the Lian Li GB-001 Anti-Sag Bracket. It's usually like 10 or 15 bucks, so it's way under your budget. It actually mounts onto the motherboard standoffs, so it doesn't matter what your case floor looks like. I use it for my heavy builds now because it stays put and you can barely see it. Just make sure your motherboard layout has the clearance for it tho... it can be a tight fit with some m.2 heatsinks. If that doesnt work, the Cooler Master Graphics Card Support Bracket with ARGB is a solid backup if you can find a tiny flat spot for the magnet.

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
