Exactly what I was thinking

Building on the earlier suggestion, looks like we are stuck waiting until mid-2025, but unfortunately the news is not as good as expected for anyone watching their wallet. I remember when I rushed to buy a high-end card on launch day a few years back and it was a total disaster... the drivers were buggy and I basically paid a premium to be a beta tester. It really sucked. Given the rumored $3,000 price tag, I am pretty disappointed that NVIDIA is pricing out the DIY crowd again.

• Look for a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16GB during holiday sales instead.
• Try to find a used ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 24GB if you need the VRAM for cheap.
• Focus on a solid power supply like the Corsair RM850x 850W Gold so you dont fry your components. Honestly, I just dont think Project DIGITS is gonna be worth the headache or the massive dent in your savings. I have had way better luck lately just scavenging for deals on proven hardware rather than chasing these overpriced releases that usually have issues anyway... it is just safer for your build and your bank account.
