For users aiming to build a system around the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, which CPU would provide the best synergy to ensure smooth gameplay and efficient processing? Are there particular models known for their compatibility and performance when used alongside the RX 6800 XT? TIA.

omg i have this exact same question right now... been trying to plan out my build around a 6800 XT for like two months and I still cant decide on the right cpu balance. i dont want to overpay for performance i wont use but i also dont want to leave anything on the table, it's honestly so frustrating that there isnt a clearer consensus yet.
