What is the best thermal paste for high-end AMD or Intel processors?

So I've been building high-end rigs for like 15 years now but my latest i9 build is driving me absolutely insane. I spent a fortune on this custom loop but the temps are jumping to 100c under load and I think the paste I bought at Micro Center is just junk or maybe it's pumping out? Ive already repasted twice this month and it starts off fine then gets worse after a few days. Its so frustrating because I have a big stream coming up this weekend and I need this stable. Budget isnt really a huge deal like maybe 20 or 30 bucks max for a tube. Is everyone still using Kryonaut or has something better come out for these high TDP chips lately?

If you are worried about long-term stability and dont want to keep redoing your loop, you seriously need to check out Noctua NT-H2 3.5g Thermal Paste! I was so nervous about messing up my own rig but this stuff is amazing because it is totally non-conductive and super thick. It wont run or squeeze out like those thinner pastes that people usually recommend for benchmarks. Honestly, it is so much safer for your components! It uses a special mixture of metal oxide microparticles that stay put for years without drying out. I love that I never have to worry about my CPU temps spiking. It is just so reliable and easy to use! Definitely give it a shot for some peace of mind before your stream...

> Is everyone still using Kryonaut or has something better come out for these high TDP chips lately? Oh man I totally feel your pain! Dealing with an i9 that hits 100c is literally the worst feeling when you have put so much work into a custom loop! Honestly, Kryonaut is legendary but if you are seeing temps jump after a few days, you are definitely dealing with the pump-out effect. It happens so often with these high-wattage chips because they cycle heat so fast and basically push the paste out to the edges. You absolutely have to try Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pad. I switched to this on my last three builds and it is seriously a miracle worker! It starts as a solid pad then turns into a liquid when it gets hot, so it literally cannot pump out like traditional pastes do. My temps stayed rock solid for months and the performance is just incredible! If you really want to stick to a traditional paste tho, check out Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme 2g. It is way thicker than the standard version and handles the high pressure of i9 builds so much better. Another fantastic option is Kingpin Cooling KPx High Performance Thermal Grease 3g which I love because it spreads so easily and just stays put! You totally got this, your stream is gonna be epic once you get those thermals locked down!
