Good Monitor for Macbook Pro M4?

I'm looking for recommendations for a good monitor to pair with my MacBook Pro M4. I want something that offers great resolution and scaling, as I've heard macOS can be fussy with external displays. Ideally, I'm considering a 27" monitor, but I'm open to other sizes if they provide better compatibility. Any suggestions on brands or specific models that work well with MacBooks? Thanks!

Tbh the scaling thing is real. macOS hits its sweet spot at roughly 218 pixels per inch for high-DPI. If you go 4K on a 27-inch, youre looking at 163 PPI, which means the OS has to do some math to make things look the right size, and it can occasionally look a tiny bit soft if youre a pixel peeper. Ive been running the Apple Studio Display 27-inch 5K for a while now and honestly I am super satisfied. Its the native 5K resolution so the scaling is 2x exactly, which is what the M4 chips love. Everything is crisp as hell. If you want to save some cash but keep that density, check out:
