Driver issues on launch day are a classic move for new architecture, and you dont want to be an unpaid beta tester. If you're dead set on it, make sure your power supply is actually up for it. I'd grab something like the Corsair RM850x 850W 80 Plus Gold if you're upgrading from an older mid-range setup. Also, keep an eye on the cooling designs from partners. The reference models are fine but the Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX was way better than the base model last time, so expect the same for the 9070 XT. Just be wary of the initial price hike from scalpers... it's gonna be a mess for the first few weeks.
