I've been a die-hard iPhone user forever and I thought I had my charging setup dialed in perfectly with my old Belkin stands but man things have changed fast recently. I just picked up the new 16 Pro and I'm super hyped to actually use the faster wireless charging they're talking about now. I already have a bunch of those standard 20W Apple bricks laying around the house here in Chicago but I'm seeing all this talk about the new 25W MagSafe speeds and I'm honestly a bit lost on which puck actually hits those numbers. I know you usually need at least a 30W power adapter to even see those peak speeds but I'm seeing conflicting reviews online about which cables and pads actually support it.

I tried using my old 3-in-1 station this morning but it feels like it takes years to get a full charge while I'm getting ready for work. I need to get this sorted before my big road trip next Friday because I'll be using GPS constantly and my battery always tanks. Is it just the official Apple one that hits the top speed or are there third party Qi2 ones that actually compete now? I dont want to buy something labeled fast if it's gonna throttle after ten minutes because of heat issues. Which MagSafe chargers are actually hitting the absolute fastest speeds for the newer iPhones right now?

Ive finally reached my breaking point with the cable situation under my TV. Between the new PS5 Pro I picked up last month and my older base model, my media console has become a complete rats nest of USB-C cables and its driving me crazy. Im trying to get a proper charging dock that can handle both the standard DualSense and the DualSense Edge since I use both pretty regularly for different games. Im based in the UK and looking to spend maybe 30 or 40 pounds max, but I want something that actually looks decent and doesnt feel like cheap plastic thats gonna snap the first time I drop a controller on it.

Ive been doing some digging and Im honestly a bit torn. Most people seem to point toward the official Sony DualSense Charging Station, and it looks sleek enough, but Ive read some conflicting stuff online about the Edge controller fitting properly. Some guys say you have to wiggle it into place because the back paddles get in the way, or it just doesnt sit flush like the regular ones do. Then theres the Razer or PowerA options, but those seem to be hit or miss with the connection pins. I really dont want to spend my evening fighting with a dock just to make sure the little orange light actually turns on, you know?

I have a few things Im looking for specifically:

Reliable connection that doesnt require constant adjusting

Enough clearance for the back paddles on the Edge controller

A separate wall power plug so I dont have to use the console USB ports

Something that wont overcharge or heat up the batteries

Im also curious if theres any real difference in charging speed between the official one and the third-party docks. I prefer a wall-plug one so I can keep the PS5 completely off instead of in rest mode all the time just to get a charge. What are you guys actually using for your setups, especially if you have a mix of the regular and Pro controllers? Are there any specific brands that have a more secure click when you dock them, or should I just stick with the Sony one and hope the fitment issues are exaggerated?...

I have about 200 bucks set aside for a solid wireless setup because my apartment is noisy and I need to block out my roommates.

I keep seeing people rave about the Pulse Elite because of the planar drivers but then I read a bunch of threads saying they disconnect constantly which sounds like a total nightmare. Then there is the SteelSeries Nova 7P which looks comfy but does it actually sound as good for the 3D audio stuff? Im just lost on which one is actually the pro choice for the new console...

So I've been saving up for months now to finally ditch my crusty old 24 inch screen because honestly playing stuff like Cyberpunk and Elden Ring on it feels like looking through a keyhole lol. I want that super wide immersive vibe but I'm stuck between two main choices right now. My desk is one of those smaller IKEA ones so I cant go crazy with a 49 inch super ultrawide even though they look cool. My budget is pretty firm at $900 tops since I still gotta pay rent too.

I'm currently looking at these:

Alienware AW3423DWF

LG 34GP950G-B

Samsung Odyssey G8

The Alienware looks sick because everyone says the OLED blacks are insane for dark dungeon scenes but I'm super paranoid about burn-in since I leave games paused for way too long sometimes while I go grab food. The LG seems like a safer bet with the IPS panel but I hate backlight bleed and I've heard it can be a total lottery with those screens. I'm trying to pull the trigger by next Friday so I can have it ready for a long weekend of gaming. Which one is actually gonna give me that wow factor for single player RPGs without breaking my heart a year later?

What are the best GPU support brackets for a really heavy card that actually stay in place and dont look like total trash?

I finally finished my build last weekend with a Gigabyte 4080 Gaming OC and man this thing is a literal brick. Its way bigger than I expected when I saw the box in the store. I noticed today that there is a tiny bit of a lean on the right side and it is honestly stressing me out because I dont want to ruin the PCIe slot or crack the PCB like I keep seeing in those horror stories online. I spent way too much on this rig for it to break because of gravity lol.

I did some looking around and found the Lian Li GB-002 which looks super clean because it mounts to the motherboard standoffs but then I realized my board has those chunky built-in heatsinks for the m.2 drives and I am worried it just wont fit right or will be a nightmare to install now that everything is already put together and cable managed. I also saw those little screw-up pillars that just sit on the bottom of the case but my case has a mesh floor over the PSU shroud and I am worried it might be wobbly or slide around if I ever have to move my PC even an inch.

Is there something better out there that I am missing? My budget is like 30 or 40 bucks max since I already blew all my cash on the card itself. I need something that looks decent through the side panel but isnt gonna fail in six months. Some of the cheap ones on Amazon have reviews saying the magnets are weak or the rubber pads fall off and I really dont want a piece of metal falling onto my PSU while the thing is running.

Should I just stick with a basic vertical pole or is there a specific brand that does the horizontal ones better without blocking the fans? Just want to get this sorted before the sag gets any worse...
