I've been going back and forth for weeks now trying to pick a 4K screen for my PS5 and the Series X. I'm finally moving out of my parents place in Chicago next month and want a dedicated desk setup for my room. My budget is capped at like $700ish. I keep seeing people recommend the LG 27GP950 because of the colors but then i read some horror stories about the fan being super loud after a few months. Then there is the Gigabyte M28U which is way cheaper but apparently the HDR is kind of a joke? I just want something with HDMI 2.1 that wont give me ghosting issues in fast games like CoD. Which one should I actually pull the trigger on?

I just bought my first tablet ever its an ipad just the normal one not the pro or anything because the pro was way too expensive and I'm already feeling super overwhelmed by it all. I bought it because I want to start selling my crochet patterns on Etsy and maybe watch some Netflix in bed but when I was at the store the salesperson was like shoving all these extra boxes at me and I just got so nervous I said no to everything and ran out. Now I'm sitting here with just the tablet in a box and I'm terrified I'm gonna drop it or scratch it or something.

I have like maybe $100 left in my budget for this month to get 'the essentials' but I have no idea what that even means. Do I actually need one of those screen protector things? My logic was that I should get one but my cousin says they are impossible to put on without bubbles and that would literally drive me crazy. And what about a case? There are like a million on Amazon and some have keyboards and some dont and I was thinking that I should get a keyboard to type my patterns but then I realized I dont even know if they're hard to set up with the bluetooth or whatever.

So I was thinking about these things but I dont know what is actually a must have vs what is just a waste of money:

a glass screen cover thing

a case with a stand

a keyboard

one of those pens

Is a stylus worth it if I'm just doing simple stuff? I saw a pen that was $130 and I almost fainted because that's like half the price of the tablet itself. Are the cheap ones okay or will they break the screen? I'm sorry if these are really stupid questions I just feel like I'm drowning in choices and I dont want to waste my money on junk that I wont use but I also dont want to break my new toy on the first day... I'm in a small town so I have to order everything online and I'm scared of picking the wrong thing.

I managed to snag a Pro last week but my old PowerA dock is being super finicky. It's like the fit is just slightly off now and the charging light keeps blinking red unless I wiggle it forever. I dont know if they changed the shell slightly or if my dock is just dying.

I need a solid cradle that matches the Pro's aesthetics since it's on my main TV stand in my living room. Budget is like $35. Is the official Sony one still the way to go or is there a better third party option that fits the newer DualSense revisions better?

I've been an iPhone user since the 3G days so I'm usually the one giving advice on this stuff but honestly I'm kind of spiraling right now because my 15 Pro Max just took a tiny tumble from my nightstand and even with a supposed heavy duty case the screen protector shattered and there is a tiny scuff on the titanium bezel. It’s driving me crazy. I usually stick with the official Apple silicone or maybe a Spigen but I feel like the quality has dipped lately? Or maybe the phones are just getting heavier and harder to protect I dont know.

I have a big hiking trip to Zion coming up next Friday and I'm terrified of dropping it on actual rocks if it can't even handle a carpeted bedroom floor. I need something that actually works but isnt a total brick in my pocket. I've looked at the technical specs for drop ratings but they all seem like marketing nonsense after what just happened.

actually strong MagSafe magnets because my car mount is weak

high lip protection for the camera bump since these lenses are huge now

tactile buttons that dont feel mushy or stiff

budget under $75

needs to arrive by Wednesday

Is anyone still using Mous or is that just all marketing hype at this point? I heard Dbrand is good but the shipping is a nightmare sometimes. I'm looking at those UAG cases too but they look so industrial and bulky. What are you guys actually using day-to-day that doesnt fail the first time it hits the ground?...

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a USB-C hub that actually works and doesn't overheat or drop my monitors every five minutes? I'm honestly so done with this cheap $30 one I bought off Amazon last month. It promised 4k 60hz and power delivery but every time I plug in my external drive the whole thing just dies and my MacBook starts acting crazy. It gets so hot I could literally fry an egg on it and I'm worried it's gonna fry my ports too.

I'm working on a video editing project for a client that's due next Friday and I cannot afford to have my setup crashing while I'm transferring 4K footage. I'm in Chicago and can run to a Best Buy or Micro Center if needed, but I'm really looking for something high-end this time. Budget is around $100-$150 because I'm just tired of buying junk that breaks. I need at least two HDMI ports, a couple of USB-A for my legacy drives, and maybe an SD card slot would be nice but not a dealbreaker. I just need it to be reliable. Is CalDigit the only way to go or are there other brands that dont cost an absolute fortune but still provide decent build quality? I'm just so frustrated with these generic plastic bricks that stop working after three weeks...

What thermal paste should I actually be getting for my new 7950X build? Im finally upgrading from my old intel rig and I managed to snag a 7950X for a decent price here in London but man these chips run hot from what I see online. Im using a 360mm AIO but I want the best possible contact. I spent most of my budget on the parts so I dont mind spending an extra 10 or 15 quid on the best paste if it saves me 2-3 degrees.

Ive been looking at Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut because everyone swears by it but then I saw some forum posts saying it "pumps out" or degrades fast if the CPU stays above 80c for a long time. These high end AMD chips are designed to hit 95c right? So that kinda worries me. I also looked at Arctic MX-6 which seems safer but maybe it doesnt have the same peak performance? Im planning to put this together this weekend and I just want something that wont require me to repaste in six months because I do a lot of 4k rendering and the PC is gonna be under heavy load basically 24/7. Is the Kryonaut really that risky for these Ryzen 7000 series or should I just go with something thicker like the Noctua stuff?...

I'm trying to decide if I should go for a Roost stand paired with a cheap Logitech keyboard or just get a really solid lap desk like the Sofia + Sam one because my neck is already killing me. I've only got about $100 to spend and need to get this stuff by next Tuesday before my new remote gig kicks off. Space is basically non-existent here so whatever I get has to fit under the bed or behind the sofa when I'm done. Is the stand/keyboard combo way better for posture or is the lap desk more practical for someone without a real desk setup...
