Ugh, so my new build is finally done and I am honestly kinda terrified to even look at it. I splurged on a 4080 Super because I really wanted to get into 4K gaming, but now that it is actually mounted inside my case, the sag is driving me crazy. It looks like it is tilting down by at least a few millimeters and my anxiety is through the roof that I am gonna snap the PCIe slot or ruin the card eventually. I have been looking at different options for like three days straight now.

I looked at those generic pillar-style support brackets that sit on the bottom of the case, but I am worried they might block the airflow from my bottom intake fans. Then I read about those magnetic ones but honestly, puttin magnets that close to my components just makes me nervous, even if everyone says its fine. I found a few people on Reddit swearing by the ones that screw into the expansion slots, but then I saw a thread where someone said those can actually put stress on the bracket itself and bend the metal backplate? My logic was that a simple prop would be best, but now I am just stuck because everything seems to have a drawback.

I have a budget of maybe 30 bucks, I just want something that looks clean and actually does the job without me having to worry about it every time I boot up. Im in the UK so I need something I can grab off Amazon or a local shop pretty fast. I am really overthinking this, I know, but after spending this much on a GPU I just dont want to mess it up. Does anyone have a specific bracket they actually trust, or am I just being paranoid about the whole airflow thing and should just buy one of those pillars and call it a day...

Ugh, so my new 4090 is literally bending my PCIe slot right before my eyes and its driving me crazy. I spent way too much money on this build to have the card sag like an old shelf. I was looking at those cheap universal stick brackets on Amazon but the reviews are all over the place, some people say they scratch the finish on the card while others say the magnet isnt strong enough to hold the weight. Then I saw those ones that screw into the case expansion slots, but my case is a Lian Li O11 Dynamic and the space is kinda tight with my bottom intake fans, so I dont even know if those would fit properly.

My budget is maybe 30 bucks tops because I already blew everything on the actual parts, but I need something reliable because I keep bumping the desk and I swear the card wiggles. Im in the UK so shipping from some obscure US site is a no go. Does anyone actually use one of those vertical acrylic poles? They look kinda tacky but maybe they actually work better than the metal ones? Honestly I just need something that isnt gonna fail in a month...

I already undervolted it a bit and messed with the fan curves in Afterburner, but the temps barely budge. Maybe my airflow is just trash? I live in a pretty small apartment in Phoenix and it gets hot as hell in here during the summer, so I feel like I need something more aggressive. My budget is probably around 100 bucks, give or take, and I need a fix before I start doing some heavy rendering work next week.

Are there actually any worthwhile cooling accessories that help, or is it all just marketing fluff? I have been looking at:

Those pcie slot fans that sit right under the gpu

Replacing the thermal pads (though I dont want to void my warranty yet)

Maybe just getting a way better high-airflow case, but I really dont want to move everything over if I dont have to

Is there anything else I should be looking at to drop these temps by like 5-10 degrees? Im getting sick of the fans sounding like a jet engine while I'm just trying to work...

Im debating between grabbing one of those cheap PCIe slot coolers or maybe just zip-tying some Noctua fans under the shroud. Budget is super tight right now, like under 40 bucks, so I cant afford a new case or water cooling. Ive been looking at the AC Infinity USB fans too but I dont know if they actually move enough air to matter. Does a little extra airflow even do anything for these cards or am I just wasting money on gimmicks that wont lower the temps at all?
