I've been an iPhone user since the 3G days so I'm usually the one giving advice on this stuff but honestly I'm kind of spiraling right now because my 15 Pro Max just took a tiny tumble from my nightstand and even with a supposed heavy duty case the screen protector shattered and there is a tiny scuff on the titanium bezel. It’s driving me crazy. I usually stick with the official Apple silicone or maybe a Spigen but I feel like the quality has dipped lately? Or maybe the phones are just getting heavier and harder to protect I dont know.

I have a big hiking trip to Zion coming up next Friday and I'm terrified of dropping it on actual rocks if it can't even handle a carpeted bedroom floor. I need something that actually works but isnt a total brick in my pocket. I've looked at the technical specs for drop ratings but they all seem like marketing nonsense after what just happened.

So I have been installing my own tempered glass for a decade now but lately nothing seems to stick right. My logic was that the big name brands like Belkin or Zagg would have better adhesive but I just wasted $40 on a screen protector that started peeling at the corner on my new iPhone 15 Pro within 48 hours. Its so frustrating because I used a proper alignment tool and everything. I thought maybe the 2.5D curved edges are just getting more aggressive or something? I am looking for something with a solid oleophobic coating that doesnt feel like plastic. Does anyone have a go-to that actually survives more than a week? Budget isnt really the issue at this point I just want it to work...

ugh i just smashed my old phone into a million pieces and had to panic buy an iphone 15 this morning. i am so clumsy and i have zero clue how to pick a screen protector. i keep seeing stuff about tempered glass vs film and i dont know what any of it means or why some cost 5 dollars and others are 40. sorry for being such a newbie but i need the absolute best one so i dont break this one too.

i need to order something on amazon tonight so it gets here by tomorrow because i am terrified of dropping it. what are the top rated brands for the 15 and maybe the older 12 models? i just want something that wont bubble and is actually tough...

I just got the new iPhone 15 after having my old one for like 5 years so I'm totally lost with all this new tech. My friend told me about MagSafe and said it makes charging easier but honestly I have no idea how it works. Is it just a magnet or do I need to buy a special plug for the wall too? im honestly just so fed up with my iphone 14 pro dying by like 2pm every single day and it makes me so anxious when im out and about especially since i rely on it for my commute home in london. my logic was that the battery would last at least through a full workday but it just doesnt anymore and i feel like i cant even leave my desk without a cable attached. i tried this cheap no-name one from amazon but it gets way too hot and i feel like its gonna fry my phone or something.

so i was thinking about maybe getting one of those magsafe ones so i dont have to carry a cable around? but then i heard they charge really slow and im worried if im using it while charging itll just stay at like 10 percent forever. im looking to spend maybe 50 or 60 pounds tops because i need something reliable before my trip next weekend. i just need something that isnt a huge brick but will actually give me a full charge while im on the move. should i just stick to anker or is there something better out there that doesnt feel like a literal toaster in my pocket? i just need something that works reliably every time without me having to baby it...

So I just grabbed the new iPhone and I am beyond excited to finally have a decent camera for my trip to Zion next Friday!! Problem is im a total klutz and I need something that can actually handle a fall onto rocks. Im currently torn between the OtterBox Defender and the Mous Limitless 5.0. The Otterbox feels like the safe bet but the Mous looks way better and isnt as bulky. I also looked at UAG but $80 is pushing my budget since I want to stay under $60 if possible. Which one is gonna actually keep my phone alive if I drop it on a trail?

im planning a 15 hour flight to japan next month and need a power bank that wont get confiscated by security but can actually keep my laptop alive. right now im torn between the anker 737 and that shargeek storm 2.

Whats the actual best value MagSafe power bank right now that wont break the bank? Ive been doing a bit of digging because I have a trip to Austin for a music festival coming up next month and I know my iPhone 15 Pro battery is just not gonna make it through a whole day of recording sets and using GPS to find my friends.

I did see that the Anker 622 is usually the go-to recommendation on most tech sites but then I saw a bunch of people on Reddit complaining that it gets super hot and just quits charging halfway through which sounds like a nightmare. Then there is the official Apple one which is way out of my budget and the capacity is honestly laughable for a hundred bucks even if the software integration is cool. I looked at some stuff from Baseus and ESR on Amazon too because the prices are way better but I dont really know those brands well enough to trust them with my phone?

Im trying to stay under $50 if possible. Is it better to get a smaller 5k mAh one that is slim or should I just get a chunky 10k one so I actually get a full charge out of it?
