You can reset your ZTE device's password. After you power on the device: input *983*987# in emergency dial-up pad. Select Erase everything. It will restore factory settings and your personal data will be erased.

Turn off your ZTE Blade L2. Press Volume UP + POWER ON.
  1. Turn off your Android ZTE Blad Q phone.
  2. Press and hold both Volume UP + POWER buttons for about 8-10 sec. until Andorid recovery menu comes up.
  3. Select Factory reset /wipe data. (scroll down with VOL down.)
  4. Select with power or Volume UP key
  5. Scroll down to Yes -- delete all user data. Press power or Vol + to confirm.

All data will be deleted!

Or if your phone is responding to screen input, then open Settings from the Applications menu. Tap Backup & reset > Factory data reset, click Reset phone and then Erase everything to format your phone.

ZTE Blade L2 soft reset or restart the device

If the phone hangs or frozen you can restart the device. Altough this phone doesn't have a removeble battery, but you can force reset the device.
To restart the phone press power key for 15 seconds. Soft Reset / restart the ZTE Blade L2 device from time to time for optimum performance.

General advice: Before you buy a new cell phone or new tablet, please try the following procedure to repair your device in a software way. All information is for devices with stock based ROMs. If you are using rooted device, always back up your EFS folder first, containing your IMEI info, etc.! Please also note, that a hard reset operation will not unlock your mobile phone's SIM lock or network lock, but it will remove the unlock pattern, remove the user password or PIN password (NOT the SIM card's 4 digit PIN code). Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
