This is a simple step by step instructional article  to help guide you through the steps of doing a hard reset on your VFD 200 Android phone.

If your phone crashes, reboots, freeze, or cannot be powered on Some third-party software is not compatible with your phone. Reset the phone to factory status. Uninstall the software that may cause the problem or upgrade the phone software.

  1. Turn off the phone. 
  2. Press and hold the Volume DOWN and POWER ON the phone until the phone turns on, the screen lights up.

  4. Now the recovery menu will come up.
  5. Use the volume key and navigate to Wipe data / Factory reset and press POWER to confirm the highlighted selection.
  6. Navigate to yes -- delete all user data and confirm the data deletion.
  7. Wait until the hard reset operation ends and the phone reboots.

Note: After this procedure the first boot may take a little longer than usual. Be patient.

If you still cannot recall the unlock pattern, you can touch Forget pattern? and enter your Google account user name and password. NOTE: You must sign in or create a Google account on your phone before using the above method to reset the screen lock. Otherwise, upgrade the phone software. Doing so will erase all your personal data on the phone.

Erase all of your personal data from internal phone storage, including information about your Google Account, any other accounts, your system and application settings, and any downloaded applications. You can also mark the Erase SD card check box to erase all the data on your microSD card, such as music or photos. If you reset the phone in this way, you’re prompted to re-enter the same kind of information as when you first started Android.

1. On the Home screen, touch the Menu Key .
2. Touch System settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset.
NOTE You can touch the checkbox to also erase all contents from your microSD card when the phone is reset.
3. Read the warning and touch Reset phone.
4.Touch Erase everything.
