Power off phone. Press both LEFT and RIGHT SOFT keys, then press POWER for a few sec. Keep holding these 3 buttons until you see

"Press 0 to restore factory default, other keys to Quit."

Press 0 to hard reset T-Mobile SDA II hard reset.

At the same time, press & hold the  Left and Right Soft Key, (keep pressing 2 keys) + press the T-Mobile SDA II hard resetPower button once for 2 sec.

Press 0 button when it asks.

Clear Storage T-Mobile SDA II hard reset

To access this menu, press Start in the Home screen > Accessories > Clear storage

Please also note, that a hard reset operation will not unlock your mobile phone's SIM lock or network lock, but it will remove the unlock pattern, remove the user password or PIN password (NOT the SIM card's 4 digit PIN code). Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
