Resetting Your PhoneResetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings.
1. From the home screen press MENU/OK > Settings > More... > Security and enter your lock code.
2. Select Erase/Reset > Reset Phone. (You will see a disclaimer.)
3. Read the disclaimer, press OK (left softkey), and then select Yes.
4. If you are then sure you want all data erased and the phone reset to its factory default state, then
select Yes.
WARNING Resetting your phone deletes all files that you have previously downloaded.
press MENU/OK > Settings > Security Settings > Reset Phone to reset the phone to its factory settings and erase all data.

Use this method to hard reset your Samsung Exclaim phone: Enter *2767*3855#. Warning! All your data including contacts, messages etc. will be lost! Copy all your necessary data/Contacts/Messages etc. to SIM or make backup to your PC before full reset! Take out SIM card before full reset.
reset Samsung Exclaim by pulling out the battery
If your Exclaim is frozen simply remove the battery from the phone (1 and 2), then reinsert it and turn on your phone.
