OR Hard reset 1st and the correct method

1. Press Lock and W&L Button (do not release)
2. reset the Device w. Stylus
3. at the first Samsung Boot Logo press Call and End Call Buttons for 0,5 sec.
4. On the screen you will see "do yout want to format" question

All data will be lost!

2nd method. Please note that the first method is the correct one!

Power ON the phone (restart), then press VOLUME UP + LOCK key, select yes to hard reset B7610.

Soft Reset the device

If your device freezes or hangs, you may need to close programs or reset the device to regain functionality. If your device is still responsive but a program is frozen, close the program via Task Switcher.

If your device is frozen and unresponsive, use a small object, such as a toothpick, to press the reset button.

Select in menu Memory Settings

Clear Memory: delete all data and reset all settings to the manufacturer’s defaults


Use this method to hard reset your Samsung B7610 Omnia PRO phone: Enter *2767*3855#. Warning! All your data including contacts, messages etc. will be lost! Copy all your necessary data/Contacts/Messages etc. to SIM or make backup to your PC before full reset! Take out SIM card before full reset.

Please also note, that a hard reset operation will not unlock your mobile phone's SIM lock or network lock, but it will remove the unlock pattern, remove the user password or PIN password (NOT the SIM card's 4 digit PIN code). Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
