Reset Default LG VN360 phone
Allows you to reset your phone to the factory default settings.
1. Open the flip and press OK [MENU].
2. Press 9 Settings & Tools.
3. Press 7 Phone Settings.
4. Press 6 Security.
5. Enter the four-digit lock code.
6. Press 5 Reset Default.
7. Press OK after reading the warning message.
8. Highlight Revert and press OK.
A confirmation message is displayed briefly before the phone resets itself.

The lock code is the same 4 digits you use as your device lock code, initially the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Restore LG VN360 Phone
Allows you to erase all user data and Contact information you've entered in the phone's memory so it's as if it just left the factory.
1. Open the flip and press OK [MENU].
2. Press 9 Settings & Tools.
3. Press 7 Phone Settings.
4. Press 6 Security.
5. Enter the four-digit lock code.
6. Press 5 Restore Phone.
7. Press OK after reading the warning message.
8. Enter the four-digit lock code

The lock code is the same 4 digits you use as your device lock code; initially the last 4 digits of your phone number.

If you cannot switch off the phone, just take out the battery and after a few seconds reinsert it, then switch your phone back on.

Note: Align the battery contacts with the terminals in the battery compartment and push the battery down until it clicks into place.

General advice: Before you buy a new cell phone or new tablet, please try the following procedure to repair your device in a software way. First charge your battery, backup your important data if possible and in most cases take out SIM and SD card before doing factory reset. Please also note, that a hard reset operation will not unlock your mobile phone's SIM lock or network lock, but it will remove the unlock pattern, remove the user password or PIN password (NOT the SIM card's 4 digit PIN code). Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
