If using Safe Mode does not restore your phone to the original condition, use a Hard Reset to initialize your phone.
1. Turn the power off.
2. Press and hold the following keys at the same time for 10 seconds: Power/Lock Key + Home Key + Up Volume Key.
3. When the power turns on, release the keys.
If you perform a Hard Reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. Please remember to back up any important data before performing a Hard Reset.

Using Safe mode

* To recover your phone when malfunctioning.
Turn off your phone and reboot. When the 1 LG Logo is displayed on the screen, press and hold the Menu Key. Your main screen will then be displayed with the words "Safe mode" in lower left corner.
From the Home screen, press the Menu Key and touch Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
Choose the application you wish to uninstall and touch Uninstall and OK to confirm.
After uninstalling the application, turn off and reboot your phone.

When you can’t recall your Unlock Pattern, PIN, or Password:
If you logged into a Google account on the phone and failed to use the correct pattern 5 times, touch Forgot Pattern? You will be required to sign in with your Google account and prompted to create a new unlock pattern.
If you haven’t created a Google account on the phone or you forgot your PIN or Password, you need to perform a hard reset.

You can use LG Mobile Support tool to repair some LG cell phone model, after download select menu Customer Support > Recovery Phone

If you are about to sell your phone and you want to wipe your personal data, or if your phone affected with virus you have to do a hard reset. In some cases, you can delete the forgotten password or lock pattern from your device as well. All information is for devices with stock based ROMs. If you are using rooted device, always back up your EFS folder first, containing your IMEI info, etc.!
