  1. Turn the phone off.
  2. Press and hold the Power Key + Volume Down Key.
  3. Release the Power Key when the LG logo is displayed.
  4. Press the Power Key again within 3 seconds.
  5. When the Factory data reset screen appear, release all keys.
  6. Use the Volume Keys to highlight Yes and press the Power Key to confirm.
  7. Your phone will perform a factory reset.
Note: All data will be deleted so back up everything before factor reset.

Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
