LG Optimus L3 II E425 hard reset If you have forgotten PIN or Password

All data will be lost! Remember to back up any important data before doing a hard reset.
If your phone does not restore to its original condition, use a Hard Reset (Factory Reset) to initialize it.

1. Turn the LG L3 II phone off
2. Press and hold the Power/Lock key + Volume Down key + Home key.
3. When the LG Logo appears on the screen, release all keys.

Leave your phone for at least a minute while it performs the hard reset, then your phone will be turned on. Remember, all data will be deleted! If you perform a Hard Reset, all user applications, user data and DRM licenses will be deleted. Please remember to backup any important data before performing a Hard Reset.

If you forget your PIN or Password, you will need to perform a hard reset.
NOTE: If you have not logged into your Google Account and have forgotten your Unlock Pattern, you will need to enter your Backup PIN.

All information is for devices with stock based ROMs. If you are using rooted device, always back up your EFS folder first, containing your IMEI info, etc.! Please also note, that a hard reset operation will not unlock your mobile phone's SIM lock or network lock, but it will remove the unlock pattern, remove the user password or PIN password (NOT the SIM card's 4 digit PIN code). Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
