To Perform LG Invision Master Reset


Reset Settings Menu 9.#
This function allows you to restore factory
settings. To do this, you need the security
code.
Master Reset (Menu 9.#.1)
Restores the settings (e.g.: Audio, Display,
Language, Date & Time, Bluetooth
Settings) stored in the handset memory to
default values.

Master Clear (Menu 9.#.2)
Deletes downloaded/user created
contents (e.g.: images, videos) from
Handset content and the External
Memory card.
] Handset
- Deletes all downloaded/user created
Images, Videos & Sounds from the
Handset Memory.
- Restores Personal Information stored
in the handset memory (e.g.: address
book, messages, tasks, alarm,
Calendar schedules) to default values.
- Resetores the settings stored in the
handset memory to default values.
] Memory Card: Deletes all contents from
the External Memory Card.


The device will be set back to factory settings, all personal settings on the device will be lost.


1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Reset Settings.
4. Scroll to and select Master Reset.
5. Select Yes after reading the warning.
6. Enter the device security code (The default code is 0000).


To Perform Master Clear

The device will be set back to factory settings; all personal data and downloaded content on the device will be lost.

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Reset Settings.
4. Scroll to and select Master Clear.
5. Scroll to and select Handset.
6. Select Yes after reading the warning.
7. Enter the device security code (The default code is 0000).

You can use LG Phone software update tool to update your LG Invision CB630 phone firmware if supported.

General advice: Before you buy a new cell phone or new tablet, please try the following procedure to repair your device in a software way. First charge your battery, backup your important data if possible and in most cases take out SIM and SD card before doing factory reset. It is impossible to recover your data after doing a hard reset, so online backup is always important. Also note that the firmware version will not be affected in any way, it will not be downgraded, it will remain the same you are using and if you have rooted your device, root privileges remain also unaffected.
