In the case of a malfunction or lock up error, press and hold the PWR/End Key for 8 seconds to reset the phone.
Restore LG VN271 Phone
Allows you to erase all user data and Contact information you've entered in the phone's memory so it's as if
it just left the factory.
1. Unlock the touch screen by dragging 'Slide up to unlock' up and touch the Menu Quick Key.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Phone Settings.
4. Touch Security.
5. Enter the four-digit lock code.
6. Touch Restore Phone.
7. After reading the warning message, touch OK.
8. Enter the four-digit lock code.
NOTE The default LG VN271 Extravert phone lock code is the last 4-digits of your phone number.
Reset LG VN271 Default
Allows you to reset your phone to the factory default settings.
1. Unlock the touch screen by dragging up and touch the Menu Quick Key.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Phone Settings.
4. Touch Security.
5. Enter the four-digit lock code.
6. Touch Reset Default.
7. After reading the warning message, touch OK.
8. Touch Revert.
To reset your LG Extravert phone to factory settings and erase all the data on your phone, touch Menu > Settings> Privacy > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
