HTC Apache hard reset

Before you buy a new cell phone or new tablet, please try the following procedure to repair your device. First charge your battery, back up your important data if possible and in most cases take out SIM and SD card.

Resetting Your  HTC Apache Device

To perform a soft reset:

Use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your PPC-6700. The device restarts, and then displays the Today screen.

Tip:To avoid data lost, please turn off your device before performing a soft reset.

To perform a HTC Apache hard reset:

1. Press and hold both SOFT KEYs on the device. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your device.
2. Press either Y to restore to factory default, or N to exit the hard reset process.
